It has been revealed this week that Scan the British desktop PC company has partnered with the BBC to produce an official Doctor Who Tardis PC.
The new official Tardis PC is equipped with a 3.1GHz Pentium G2120 on its entry level version, but can be equipped with a 3.1GHz Core i7 processor if you are looking for a little extra power.
Features include a high quality aluminium case, finished in the official Pantone blue Tardis colour of the original Tardis, together with handles and poster on the front door matching the original Tardis design. Scan explains:
“The TARDIS consists of over 45 pieces of individually cut brushed aluminium. Together they create a faithful reproduction of the iconic phone box, instantly recognisable throughout the universe as the Doctor’s time machine.”
The new Tardis PC created by Scan starts at £936 or $1,508, climbing to £1,933 or $3,114 depending on your specifications. For full details jump over to the Scan website, together with pictures on how the case is constructed.
